About the role

We are looking for a Treasurer to join a technology company specializing in the development of software solutions for banks and neo-banking institutions within the digital financial services sector.

This professional will be responsible for ensuring the companys liquidity, funding, and cash management efficiency across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines strategic insight and hands-on execution, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and contributing to the companys financial stability and long-term growth.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee daily cash flows, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and regulatory compliance.

Develop and optimize cash pooling, intercompany funding, and short-term investment structures.

Maintain strong banking relationships, negotiate terms and credit lines, and manage bank accounts.

Identify and mitigate treasury-related risks, including FX and interest rate exposures.

Support the CFO with capital planning, liquidity forecasts, and strategic funding decisions.

Oversee treasury systems and process improvements, promoting automation and integration with finance tools.

Lead and guide treasury analysts or specialists, fostering collaboration with Finance, Risk, and Operations teams.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking, including at least 3 in a leadership role.

Background in regulated financial environments (fintech, banking, or payments preferred).

Solid knowledge of cash forecasting, FX management, and financial instruments.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in treasury management systems and advanced Excel modelling.

Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Fluent English is required; Russian is preferred; other European languages are a plus.
