O&M Manager – Wind Energy

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a hands-on O&M Manager to take charge of operations and maintenance activities for a portfolio of onshore wind farms located throughout south Italy. This is a field-first role: you're not just reviewing dashboards—you’re making things happen on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily oversight of wind farm operations, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance with HSE protocols
- Plan and supervise maintenance schedules (preventive, corrective, predictive) in coordination with contractors and internal staff
- Control KPIs and operational data, initiate improvements to optimize production and reduce downtime
- Act as technical liaison for inspections, audits, and site visits involving local authorities, service providers, or asset owners
- Manage service contracts, ensuring SLAs are met and negotiating extensions or optimizations when needed
- Support root-cause analysis of incidents and develop action plans to avoid recurrence
- Contribute to budgeting, spare parts management, and cost control of O&M operations

Minimum requirements
Profile We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in wind energy, with at least 2 years managing O&M activities (site or multi-site)
- Technical background (Engineering, Renewable Energies, Electrical or Mechanical fields)
- Solid grasp of SCADA systems, wind turbine technologies, and maintenance workflows
- Strong command of Italian and functional English (technical communication level)
- Able to travel frequently across remote sites in southern Italy
- Proactive, resilient, and safety-first mindset
