About the Opportunity

An international food business is looking for a commercially driven Country Sales Manager to lead its expansion across the Spanish market. This is a strategic role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts and driving sustainable growth within the Foodservice and Retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Spain.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities across Foodservice and Retail channels.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customers nationwide.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service and product delivery.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and business updates to senior management.


Minimum requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of sales experience within the food industry.
  • Strong background in Foodservice, Wholesale, Frozen Food or Grocery Retail.
  • Proven success in opening new accounts and generating new business.
  • Established network within the Spanish food market.
  • Fluent Spanish and English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Spain.

Ideal Profile

  • Experience selling frozen food products, poultry or related categories.
  • Strong understanding of food distribution and wholesale channels.
  • Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Autonomous and comfortable working in a remote environment.
